


Although a farmhouse has stood on the site since the 18th century, it had been abandoned and by the late 20th century had become a ruin. It was rebuilt in 1987 using traditional methods and materials. In this way it continues to offer the traditional Provencal environment: a cool place to retreat from the mediterranean sun during the summer, but the thick walls warming up by the log fire inside in winter. Outside, the gardens and pool are beautifully laid out to provide a cool oasis among the vineyards.
